Highland Engineering and Surveying, Profesional Engineers and Land Surveyors is owned and managed by Mr. Richard Stephens, P.Eng. and Mr. David Ludvigson, BCLS, CLS.  Mr. Stephens has practiced as a Professional Engineer for over 25 years in the Campbell River Area.  On May 1st, 2000 he was joined by Mr. David Ludvigson of Ludvigson Land Surveying Inc. who has practiced in Campbell River since 1997.  Their clients’ needs are better served by joining forces and providing both Civil Engineering and Legal Land Surveying services under one roof.   Our firm primarily serves the Campbell River area, northern Vancouver Island and the outer Islands.

Highland Engineering and Surveying provides a comprehensive package of professional design & planning, construction management and legal land surveying services.  Our services are responsive to our clients’ particular needs, and we pride ourselves on the prompt, efficient service that a local company can provide.

Highland Engineering and Surveying Services

Highland Engineering and Surveying offers a full project management service from conceptual design, feasibility analysis, construction management (all phases) and all legal surveys that may be necessary.  Our primary strengths are in Municipal/Civil Engineering and Land Surveying services.

Procedures and Equipment

Our firm uses the latest computer based software for drafting plans and making calculations.  All surveys are completed with the use of total stations and/or Global Positioning Systems depending on the needs of the survey.

We are also very committed to keeping our firm up-to-date with the latest technology and continuing education.
